Community Guidelines

Version 1.0 · Last updated: July 23, 2026 · Operated by Borja de la Riva Ruiz, Spain

Troy Circle is a curated, application-only community for adult gay men. These Guidelines explain the conduct we expect, what is not allowed, and how moderation and appeals work. They complement our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Child Safety Standards. Breaking these Guidelines can lead to content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the community.

1. Respect and consent

2. Strictly prohibited

The following will result in immediate removal and, where applicable, referral to law enforcement:

3. Profiles and photos

4. Safety off the platform

5. Reporting, moderation and appeals

You can report a profile or a chat from within the app. Reports go to a restricted moderation queue and are treated confidentially; child-safety reports are escalated as the highest priority. Good-faith reporters are protected from retaliation.

When we investigate a report, authorised staff may review the related conversation. Because messages are encrypted at rest (not end-to-end), authorised staff can decrypt content when necessary for a safety investigation or a valid legal request.

If we restrict your account or content, and unless the law prevents it (for example, in child-safety investigations), we will tell you the reason and you can ask a person to review the decision by emailing hello@troycircle.app. This does not limit your right to complain to a competent authority.

Emergencies. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. To report child-safety concerns, email hello@troycircle.app with the subject CHILD SAFETY REPORT.
